Failure to make payment by the required deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation or non-performance of the Service.
Private transfers and vehicle hire with a driver
This section applies to private transfers, transfers and vehicle hire with a driver ordered through ThaiTripGuide and settled through ThaiPol.com.
Enquiry, quotation and conclusion of an agreement
- Submitting a form is an enquiry regarding availability and does not guarantee performance of the Service or the price.
- The quotation specifies at least the route, date, type of Service and vehicle, price and payment period. Before making payment, the Client should check these details.
- The reservation becomes binding after acceptance of the current quotation and conditions and after payment has been successfully received. An unpaid quotation automatically expires within the period specified at the time of ordering.
- For card payments, availability of this method may depend on the current order-value limit. The limit is shown in the payment interface and may be changed for operational or security reasons.
Scope of the Service and the Client’s obligations
- The Client provides the correct locations, dates and times according to Thailand time, contact details, the number of passengers and items of luggage, and information needed for the safe performance of the journey.
- Stops and a multi-day plan form part of the Service only if they have been included in the paid quotation. A change to the route, time, number of days, vehicle or other material details may require a new quotation.
- The Client should be ready at the agreed place and time and remain available at the telephone number provided. A delay, absence or incorrect information may make it impossible to perform the Service.
- The Operator may provide a replacement vehicle or driver with appropriate specifications if this is necessary to perform the paid Service.
Cancellation and refunds
After successful payment, the vehicle and driver are reserved for the Client. The Client’s cancellation, failure to appear, lack of contact or failure to use all or part of the Service does not give the right to cancel the paid journey or to a refund.
If the paid Service is not performed for reasons attributable to the Operator and no replacement solution is provided, the matter is settled in accordance with mandatory provisions. No provision of these Terms and Conditions excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Documenting performance
For the safety of the parties and to document performance of the Service, the times of events relating to the reservation, quotation, acceptance, payment and performance are recorded. The driver may add a photograph of the vehicle assigned to a specific journey and photographs of the pick-up and completion of the journey. The rules for processing this data are described in the Privacy Policy.
Version of the private transfer terms: 2026-09-11.private-transfer.1, effective from 11 September 2026
Nature of the tourism business
Thaipol.com Co., Ltd. operates as a licensed travel agency and tour operator in Thailand under licence TAT no. 11/12061.
The company may organise complete tourism services comprising various elements of travel.
These may include, among other things:
- accommodation,
- transfers,
- journeys,
- cruises,
- ferry crossings,
- tours,
- guide services,
- attractions,
- other local services.
Organising a Service and its actual performance
Offering or organising a specific Service as part of a tourism package does not mean that Thaipol.com Co., Ltd. performs each of these services itself.
Individual services may be performed by independent service providers.
For example:
- a journey may be performed by a local transfer company or taxi,
- a crossing may be performed by a ferry operator,
- a cruise may be operated by a boat operator,
- accommodation is provided by a hotel,
- a guide service may be performed by an authorised guide.
Thaipol.com Co., Ltd. organises and sells such services as an element of a tourism Service, but does not thereby become a carrier, ferry operator, hotel operator or other performer of a specific operational activity.
Each independent service provider is responsible for holding the licences, permits and authorisations required for the activity it actually performs.
Thaipol.com Co., Ltd. is responsible for organising the Service to the extent arising from the agreement concluded with the Client and the applicable provisions.
Partners and subcontractors
We may use many different independent providers to perform Services.
The selection of a specific service provider may depend, among other things, on:
- the place of performance,
- the date,
- availability,
- the type of Service,
- the number of participants,
- local conditions.
We do not always use one fixed provider for all performances.
Depending on the specific reservation, the partner may be a local transfer company, taxi, hotel, ferry operator, boat operator, guide or another entity appropriate for the Service.
Performance of Services and changes to the programme
The Operator exercises due diligence to ensure that Services are performed in accordance with the agreed programme and Reservation Confirmation.
Due to the nature of tourism services in Thailand, circumstances requiring changes may arise.
This may concern, among other things:
- pick-up times,
- the order of attractions,
- the travel route,
- the means of transport,
- the operator performing the Service,
- the place of performance,
- the date,
- the tour programme.
Changes may be necessary due to:
- weather,
- safety,
- sea conditions,
- traffic conditions,
- decisions of the authorities,
- closure of attractions,
- changes to national park rules,
- breakdowns,
- logistical problems,
- decisions of the local operator.
If a change does not materially affect the main nature of the Service, it is not treated as non-performance of the Service.
In the event of a material change, the Operator may propose an alternative solution.
Availability of Services
The availability of hotels, transfers, tickets, attractions, cruises, tours and other Services may change dynamically.
Information on availability provided during initial contact does not always mean that a reservation is guaranteed.
The Service is considered confirmed only after the final confirmation has been received from the Operator and the specified payment conditions have been met.
Withdrawal and cancellation
The Client may withdraw from the Service before the date of its performance.
The conditions for withdrawal may depend on the type of Service and the conditions of external providers.
In the case of tourism services, many services are reserved and paid for in advance.
This applies in particular to:
- hotels,
- transfers,
- cruises,
- private transport,
- tickets,
- guide services,
- private tours,
- group reservations,
- individually prepared Services.
In such a case, amounts paid may not be refundable in whole or in part.
The possibility of a refund depends, among other things, on:
- the conditions of the specific provider,
- the date of withdrawal,
- costs incurred,
- the possibility of cancelling the reservation,
- organisational costs.
If it is possible to recover part of the funds from the provider, the Operator may take them into account when settling with the Client.
Individual cancellation conditions specified in the final confirmation may apply to certain reservations.
The Operator recommends purchasing appropriate travel insurance also covering the risk of withdrawal.
Force majeure and circumstances beyond control
The Operator is not responsible for non-performance or delay of the Service resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
These may include, among other things:
- extreme weather conditions,
- natural disasters,
- decisions of the authorities,
- epidemics,
- protests,
- acts of war,
- airport closures,
- port closures,
- transport restrictions,
- infrastructure failures,
- national park closures,
- changes to local operators’ rules,
- other extraordinary events.
In such situations, the Operator may propose:
- a change to the programme,
- a change of date,
- an alternative Service,
- a change of route,
- a change of service provider,
- another solution possible under the circumstances.
